NCX – WARRANTY & REFUND POLICY

1. OVERVIEW
This Warranty & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all NCX storage products (“Products”) sold globally through authorized NCX distributors, resellers, and partners.
By purchasing or using an NCX Product, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. WARRANTY COVERAGE
NCX provides a limited hardware warranty on all SSDs, covering:

Manufacturing defects

Controller or NAND flash failure
-
Malfunction under normal and recommended usage
-
Sudden operational failure not caused by external damage
Once a warranty claim is approved, NCX provides a replacement unit in accordance with the distributor’s policy described below.
3. WARRANTY SYSTEM
Warranty claims are processed only through authorized NCX distributors or resellers, unless bought directly from NCX. Warranty will start from the day of delivery.
Distributor Warranty Rules:

Customers must contact their authorized distributor/reseller for warranty claims.

Distributors are responsible for testing, validation, and initial claim approval.

NCX will issue replacement units with the distributor’s next purchase order.

Distributors must return the defective units first as part of the RMA cycle.

NCX will not ship replacement units directly to end customers.
This ensures faster, regionally managed service and proper inventory tracking.
4. CONDITIONS FOR WARRANTY APPROVAL
A Product qualifies for warranty if:

It is still within the official NCX warranty period
-
It was purchased from an authorized seller or directly from NCX
-
The serial number and labels are intact and unmodified
-
It shows factory-related failure confirmed through testing
-
It has not been physically or electrically damaged
5. WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS (NOT COVERED)
Warranty will not apply if the Product shows any of the following:
A) Physical Damage
-
Cracked PCB or broken connectors
-
Bent or damaged M.2 pins
-
Liquid damage
-
Fungus or mold on the PCB or components
-
Evidence of dropping, crushing, or mishandling
B) Electrical Damage
-
Burn marks
-
Short circuits caused by improper installation
-
PSU failure-related damage
-
Overvoltage, unstable power, or incompatible motherboards
-
Damage caused by third-party adapters or enclosures
C) Tampering & Unauthorized Modifications
-
Warranty sticker removed or tampered
-
Serial number altered or missing
-
Any attempt to open, repair, or modify the SSD
-
Custom firmware or unofficial software flashing
D) Improper Usage
-
Installation without proper precautions
-
Excessive force during installation/removal
-
Use in extreme temperatures
-
Poor airflow or improper heatsink use causing damage
Any product showing clear external damage or conditions outside normal usage will be rejected.
6. REPLACEMENT POLICY
Once a product is approved:
-
A replacement unit of the same model and capacity will be provided
-
If the same model is unavailable, NCX may supply an equivalent or upgraded model
-
Replacement items carry the remaining warranty of the original unit
-
For distributors, replacements are added to the next shipment after defective units are returned
NCX does not provide cash refunds for warranty replacements.
7. REFUND POLICY
Purchases via Distributors or Retailers
Refunds follow the seller’s individual return policy. NCX does not issue refunds for products purchased through third-party sellers.
Purchases directly from NCX (if applicable)
NCX does not typically provide a cash refund. NCX will exchange a new unit with equal specs or higher. Refunds may be issued only if:

The product is unsourcable or obsolete.

Refunds exclude shipping fees.
8. WARRANTY PROCESS
Step 1 — Customer Contacts Distributor
Provide:

Proof of purchase
-
Serial number
-
Description of fault
Step 2 — Testing
Distributor tests and verifies the issue.
Step 3 — Approval
If approved, → defective unit must be returned to the distributor and shipped back to NCX.
If rejected → unit is returned to the customer without replacement.
Step 4 — Replacement
NCX ships replacement items with the distributor’s next order, only after defective units are received.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
NCX is not responsible for:

Loss of data
-
Damage to other hardware
-
Costs of data recovery
-
System compatibility issues
-
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
NCX’s maximum liability is limited to the replacement of the defective Product.
10. GOVERNING LAW
This Policy is governed exclusively by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or competent courts within the UAE.
